Engineering Technology I

Engineering Technology I is a year long class that teaches students the engineering design process and introduces students to a variety of engineering disciplines. Students will complete several projects within the disciplines of mechanical, civil, transportation, biomedical, energy, and electrical engineering, among others. This course will also provide the opportunity to earn certification in the 3D modeling software Solidworks, and an introduction to basic machining and 3D printing skills.  Additional skills include: problem solving, technical math, technical writing, team development, and employability skills.
