This summer, Career Development Center Health Career's students competed in the International Leadership conference. 

Advanced Manufacturing Academy Open House

Thank you to these Corporate Partners for making our Advanced Manufacturing Academy Open House a huge success. 

 

CDC Agriscience students participate at the Boulder County Fair

Over 45 CDC Agriscience students, who are also St. Vrian Valley FFA members, are participating at the 2019 Boulder County Fair. We have members who are showing multiple livestock projects (horses, beef and dairy cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, and poultry), and also exhibiting their 4-H general and home ec projects. Additionally, our members organize and manage a free petting barn/ agricultural education learning area for all fair goers!

Summer Lunch Program for Students

St Vrain Valley Schools and participating towns within the district will be providing free lunch for children and adults throughout the summer.

Lunch will be served at the following sites Monday through Thursday, from June 3 to July 25. 

  • Carr Park | 1301 21st Ave., Longmont | 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

  • Coal Miner's Park | 770 Cheesman St., Erie | 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

  • Countryside Village | 1400S. Collyer St., Longmont | 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. 

St. Vrain Valley Student Film Festival

The 2019 St. Vrain Valley Student Film Festival proved to be another great show with 20 student films featured from eight different area schools. The highlights of the festival included films from two graduating seniors: Ryan Yancey from Mead High School and Aamuro Kanda from Niwot High School. Both students are alumni of the CDC Video classes.

National Technical Honor Society Ceremony

NTHS members attended the 2019 NTHS ceremony at the Career Development Center. 

ProStart/Culinary FCCLA State Conference Winners

Congratulations to the following FCCLA State Conference Winners from the Career Development Center ProStart/Culinary Arts program. 

National Technical Honor Society 2019 Members

Congratulations to the 2019 National Technical Honor Society Members. To be eligible for this honor, members must have a 3.5 cumulative GPA at their home high school as well as in their Career Development Center class.
