Career Development Center Prostart programs's Thanksgiving luncheon was served to district employees and the general public at the Sunset Cafe in the Career Develpment Center building. Prostart will have their Prime Rib luncheon on December 11th. The full Sunset Cafe menu can be found on the CDC website.
Career Development Center would like to welcome all high school students and their families to learn more about the newly developed Advanced Manufacturing Academy, launching in the Fall of 2019. OPEN HOUSE is December 6th from 3-6:30PM. Pathways include - Electronics, Optics, Machining and Welding.
The St. Vrain Valley Schools’ Senior Volunteer Program is once again available for the 2018-2019 school year. The program began in November 2012 to welcome seniors and individuals with disabilities into our schools and provide them financial assistance with their county property taxes. Up to 200 participants will be paid a maximum of 40 hours at $11.10 per hour for a total of $444 between January 2, 2019 and April 30, 2019.

Winners of the National FFA Horse Evaluation Career Development Event (CDE) were announced Friday at the annual awards banquet. The event was held in conjunction with the 91st National FFA Convention and Expo in Indianapolis.

Welcome back to our Stapp Inspires Educator Highlight series! We are excited to introduce you to Hope Nazzaro, Culinary Instructor at the Career and Development Center (CDC). Hope is in her 15th year of teaching, having spent the last three years at CDC. She had previously taught at Skyline and Frederick High School. She graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Family Consumer Science.
